Fundraising Ideas

Our supporters go to great lengths to help our charity raise the funds needed to continue raising life saving awareness. Their ideas are so varied and we are always so grateful for every event people hold for us and every penny donated. Read below for some of the ideas that people have had to raise funds for Kicks Count. If you are organising your own event for Kicks Count, please register your event with us or email to discuss.

We have lots of yummy mummies wanting to support us with their babies and have recently had a few groups of mums organise buggy walks for Kicks Count. Natasha and a group of her friends walked 5km from Bournemouth to Boscombe Bay recently. They set up a JustGiving page to collect sponsors from their friends and raised a wonderful £125 for the charity. Thank you ladies!

Corporate Fundraising

Why not ask your employer to make Kicks Count their chosen charity for the year? This is a great way for us to get funds and events like dress down days can go towards the pot.

axa cakeThe Leicester office of AXA PPP Health Insurance selected Kicks Count as their 2015 charity of the year and they had some fantastic events throughout the year, including a staff BBQ, St George’s Day dress down day, cake sales and they even sold our wristbands and other shop goodies throughout the year.

page 6 - recyclingRecycling rubbish!

We have hundreds of fundraisers across the UK who are turning their rubbish to good use and have raised a phenonemal £20,000 for Kicks Count in the past few years through recycling!

Ink cartridges from your printers can also be recycled for Kicks Count, just visit the Ink2cash website to order a freepost envelope.

Terracycle are eliminating the idea of waste. They take everyday items that cannot be generally recycled by Councils and turn them in to new exciting products like recycled park benches or upcycled lunch boxes!

Send us your biscuit wrappers, house hold cleaning wipes, cleaning bottle tops, baby food pouches, Tassimo pods and pens and Terracycle will make a donation for every one we send. Send your packets and pouches to:

Kicks Count Recycling Team, 14 Holmer Street, Whitecross, Hereford, HR4 0HS

Where will my money go?

Kicks Count has no offices and overheads so every penny you raise goes directly towards the campaign. Your funds will pay for us to print our leaflets, stickers and posters. They also pay for us to attend major baby shows where we can meet a huge number of pregnant women and impart our valuable advice face to face. All in all, your money will go directly towards saving little lives!
