Hand on Heart Jewellery pledge £1000 to help save babies lives

We love personalised jewellery and gifts at Kicks Count, memories are so important to cherish.  We were thrilled when Hand on Heart Jewellery got in touch with us in 2016 asking what they could do to show their support of our campaign. They generously donated prizes for our followers to win, which is invaluable for raising awareness and pledged to carry on their support in 2017.

Last week we received a simply wonderful email from them.  As they are so close to 100,000 Facebook fans on their Facebook page they will be deservedly celebrating once they reach that magic number.  Generously, their celebration will be to donate an incredible £1,000 to Kicks Count to help us continue to save babies lives.

In 2017 we have plans to continue raising awareness to mums, as well as ramping up our efforts to reach out to medical professionals and get as many on board with the Kicks Count message as we can.  Though it’s vastly improved recently, consistent information around baby movements remains an issue in the UK, as does consistency of support and care given to mums who report a change in their baby’s movements.  We will be attending many professional conferences this year, as well as the Baby Show’s that have always been so successful for reaching mums.  Of course, doing this comes at a cost, such a generous donation from Hand on Heart will make a great difference.

Amanda, Managing Director of Hand on Heart Jewellery said:

‘Each piece of jewellery that we create has a story behind the prints. We’re so lucky to be able to create pieces capturing many wonderful happy memories, but we also work closely with parents following heartbreaking loss. The work that Kicks Count does to support women during pregnancy is nothing short of inspirational and we’re delighted to be able to support such a wonderful charity.’
