In May I'm tackling my first half marathon! Trust me I am not a natural runner but I am doing this in memory of our first born Leela Jayde. In March 2014 after a phase of reduced movement we were told the words no parent wants to hear "I'm sorry there's no heartbeat". Our worlds imploded and we couldn't imagine how we would make it through. 5 years down the line and we found our way through and in 2017 we welcomed our wonderful rainbow baby boy. No parent should ever outlive their child and I am raising vital funds for this wonderful charity with the hope that they can stop parents facing the heartbreak of saying goodbye to a much loved and longed for child, thank you.

I’m raising money for Kicks Count because, sadly, stillbirth isn’t as rare as many people think. The UK has the 3rd highest stillbirth rate in the developed world. Any donations to this page will be in memory of Leela Jayde Pratt

Things are changing, but there is more to be done. The latest figures released by the Office of National Statistics in July 2018 showed that 2017 had the lowest stillbirth rate since records began. Raising awareness of baby's movements IS making a difference! As a charity dedicated to reducing stillbirth and neonatal death, Kicks Count need help to continue raising awareness and to save more babies lives.

It’s a great cause, and your donation will help them achieve even more. Donating is easy, quick and secure.

Please share with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter – and elsewhere – so I can reach my target and together we can help Kicks Count do more. Thank you!
