London Marathon 2024

Take on the world's most famous marathon in 2024. You'll experience an incredible atmosphere as you run past the iconic sights of the capital including Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. We'll look forward to cheering you on during the 26.2 mile route!

I have a ballot place:

The ballot for the 2024 London Marathon is now closed. The ballot was announced July 2023. If you were lucky enough to secure a ballot place or have a deferred 2023 place, we would love to welcome you to Team Kicks Count! We will send you your free and exclusive running vest, plus any fundraising materials you need; you'll also have our dedicated running-lover Fundraiser Tracy to speak to whenever you need (who has also applied in the ballot!). As the charity hasn't paid for your place, you won't have to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship, just raise what you can!

Unfortunately, as a new small charity, we have NO guaranteed places to run the London Marathon. The only way to run for Kicks Count is to have your own ballot, Club or Good for Age place.

Meet our 2024 London Marathon Team!

We're so grateful to anyone who uses their valuable ballot spot to raise funds for our tiny charity. 

Jamie 'hobbled' his way around the 2018 London Marathon swearing "never again", but luck was on his side and he secured a ballot spot for 2024 and has chosen to fundraise for Kicks Count again. You can sponsor him online.

Emily will be running 26.2 miles in memory of her son Gabriel Ray who she spent a precious 75 hours with before she had to say goodbye. You can sponsor Emily online. 

It's always been my ambition to run a marathon and I was ridiculously lucky to get into the London Marathon through the ballot system this year. It's going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and, even better is if it raises money for a great charity.
