Emily Foster completed an emotional Milton Keynes 10K run this July. Speaking about her experience she said:

‘The race was one of the hardest runs I have ever done. I had set my heart on running a race for Kicks Count after having my rainbow baby Matilda in March last year - it was hot, exhausting and emotional. But it was worth every bead of sweat, every moment of doubt and definitely worth the sprint finish at the end.

This is for not only for our rainbow baby Matilda, but also for the two babies we never got the opportunity to meet, yet we loved so much.

This is for all our friends who have experienced the loss of a baby, and those who are on a tough journey we know too well.

This is for all the little lives we hope to save.

Most of all, Kicks Count, this is for you and all you do to raise awareness’
